CONSULTATION
Every AlumierMD treatment includes a compulsory consultation. Prior to any peel or facial we will evaluate the skin and recommend the most suitable treatment for you. Followed by giving you advice on the best AlumierMD home-care products for you and showing you how to use them.

AlumierMD Professional Peels

AlumierMD Peels and Facials remove dead skin cells and stimulate the growth of new cells by removing the damaged skin layers on the surface. They can be used to treat specific problems or just for a brighter and youthful appearance.
You will be recommended specific home-care products bespoke to you and your skin type from the AlumierMD skincare range tailored to your skin. The products should be used to prepare your skin before a peel and post-treatment for the best long-lasting results.
First we carry out a consultation, we will discuss your skin concerns and carry out a full skin analysis. Then you will have the option to use some home-care products, which are most suited to your skin in preparation for the peel 2-weeks before the treatment.
During the procedure you can feel a tingling and warm feeling when the peel is applied.
There is no downtime and you can resume with day-to-day activities. Your skin may be slightly red and sensitive but will look and feel normal after a few hours. For some patients healing time can take up to a week.
We highly recommend using an SPF factor 50 on your face and you should avoid sun exposure for 24 hours.
You can start seeing visible improvements of your skin straight away but full results will be seen when the course of peels is completed. We recommend purchasing a course, rather than 1 session as clients who finish the course of treatments see the best significant results.
We highly recommend a course of 3 to 6 chemical peels treatments for optimum results with 4-week intervals. Clients can then maintain their results by having a follow-up chemical skin peel every 3 months, where a bespoke treatment plan can be designed on your consultation.
