Shushma came to see us for a Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty assessment. She has had this treatment before many years ago and felt she now needed a top up.
Non-surgical Rhinoplasty also known as nose filler is an advanced procedure to help add volume, straighten and lift the nose. It is a great alternative to undergoing surgery with the huge downtime, costs and risk. However, it is extremely important your practitioner is safe, insured and accredited as well as highly trained in this procedure, and using the best high quality products otherwise complications can occur.
During Shushmas assessment we discussed her concerns, did a few tests to check which part of the nose needed the filler. From assessment, we decided together, the tip of the nose required a slight lift, volume on the nose bridge and a subtle straighten to the saddle of the nose.
We cleansed the area and took of the numbing cream, before pictures were taken and a full thorough consultation and explanation of the process was done. We also explained the aftercare of the procedure which is important.
During the procedure Shushma didn’t feel any pain, especially as the filler also contains anaesthetic. We injected small amounts of filler into the areas needed.
There is very little downtime with the procedure and you can hardly tell anything was done! The procedure was also quick and took 10 minutes.
The after pictures speak for themselves. Shushma was very happy with the results. The NSR would now last up to 12 months or even longer for some people
